A political science professor who advised her school’s pre-law society played a significant role in Milissa’s decision to pursue a legal career. His guidance helped strengthen her interest in the law and encouraged her to follow the path toward becoming an attorney. Milissa is a member of the Austin Bar Association and the Williamson County Bar Association. She is also licensed to practice law in both Texas and Missouri.

Milissa’s interest in the legal profession began at an early age. As a little girl, she preferred playing courtroom rather than playing school—a sign of the career she would eventually pursue. She is deeply committed to justice and meaningful social change. Through her family law practice, Milissa has the opportunity to help individuals navigate difficult circumstances while protecting the people, relationships, and interests that matter most to them. Milissa hopes to continue serving others throughout her legal career and would one day like to become a judge.

Originally from Wichita Falls, Texas, Milissa has also lived in Tyler, Illinois, and Missouri. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, cycling, and reading.
Milissa has an adult son, Christopher, and a Pekingese pug named Pappis. Tuscany, Italy, is at the top of her travel list because of its beautiful scenery and exceptional food.
